Paul is an Atlanta, Georgia based musician who has performed professionally for over 35 years. He has composed and conceptualized music for several national advertising campaigns and helps produce music education programs for children. Paul has been on the bill with: Santana, James Brown, Kathy Matea, Al Green, Spyro Gyra, Peabo Bryson and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. He has opened concerts for Joe South, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The New York Voices, B.W. Stevenson and has appeared with Percy Sledge as a member of his band.

MICHAEL “MURANI” JOHNSON:

Michael Johnson is an artist, musician, writer, composer and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in a musical household. Michael has since traveled the world professionally for over 15 years producing, writing and performing for an array of Artists from Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Dance. His music has been featured in television, movies, and various soul and dance music compilations. In 2001 Michael started MURANI INNERTAINMENT, his own production company. He has produced and written for the “UK Queen of Soul” Julie Dexter, UK artist Santessa and Latin songstress Malena Perez. He has released two solo projects of his own, Vibrations and The Servant/Master and is getting ready to release his third solo effort Meditations.Michael has since traveled the world professionally for over 15 years producing, writing and performing for an array of Artists from Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Dance. Meditative Funk is a music of various styles intended to create artistic inspiration, relaxation, and optimism. Meditative Funk blends jazz elements with other musical styles, such as funk, soul, electronic dance music and free improvisation. Ethno-soulful-groove-heavy, spiritual moody jazz with spacey rhythms, but also has the ability to hit a smoother electric groove, wrapped up with deeper themes, conscious lyrics and utilizing mantras to create transformation.

Paul plays Steel Drum and percussion with Caribbean, Island, Reggae, Calypso and Latin Jazz played on Steel Pan and Marimba , and mixed with his arrangements of well known popular songs are his specialties. Paul also composes, arranges and records music. Ziggy Marley, T.S. Monk Jr., New York Voices and Percy Sledge are some of the artist’s Paul has opened for and performed with.
