FuegoMundo on Foursquare!

We are proud to announce our official Foursquare guidelines.

At this time, our guidelines are as follows:

1. When you come to FuegoMundo and check-in for the FIRST time, you will receive a FREE plate of Yucca Fries and sauce (purchase of lunch or entree necessary). Just show the screen from your smart phone to the cashier indicating “this is your FIRST check-in here!”

2. The Mayor of FuegoMundo will receive a FREE lunch – from the lunch menu – for each month they hold the title of Mayor. To award this, we will connect directly with the Mayor to give them their “Free Lunch” card.

3. The Mayor will also be entitled to FREE soft drinks ANY time they come in to FuegoMundo, no order necessary. All they have to do is show the screen from their smart phone to the cashier indicating they are the current Mayor.

4. FREE giveaways at every 10th check-in! All you have to do is show your smart phone screen to the cashier that reads “This is your 10th check-in here!” Review the schedule below:

10th check-in – free dessert or tapas
20th – free lunch or entree
30th – free dessert or tapas
40th – free lunch or entree
50th – free dessert or tapas

And so on and so on… All you have to do is present the screen from your smart phone to the cashier that indicates the total number of check-ins, and you will be awarded your prize!

These guidelines are subject to change. And we will be announcing guidelines on other geolocation services, such as Gowalla, in the near future.

Also, I love your restaurant! My wife and I had lunch there several weeks ago with our 14 year old son, who is in a wheelchair and does not walk or talk. I have to tell you how proud you should be of your staff, who made us feel so welcome!

This is not always the case at restaurants. Our hostess/server made a real effort to connect with our son, and it meant the world to us!

The Sachs

This week’s featured customers are Michael and Jacqueline Sachs. Michael came for the first time FuegoMundo on his birthday eight months ago – on the recommendation of friends – and cashed in on his FREE birthday meal.

Michael and Jacqueline say that FuegoMundo is “by far one of the better casual restaurants in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs areas. The service is exceptional and friendly and hospitable, the food is fabulous and very affordable. We eat here at least twice a week and never get tired of it.”

Greg and Masha

Here is one of our favorite customers, by the name of Greg.

Greg, who currently lives in Atlanta, is originally from Jamaica! He loves the Latin flavors of the food at FuegoMundo. Greg has inspired us to introduce the spicy flavors of Jamaica like Jerk Chicken and Jerk Tilapia to our menu (possibly coming soon).

Greg is a frequent customer, and also a member of the FANATICOS. Greg, we appreciate you more than you know! Thanks for your loyalty and friendship…

Mr. and Mrs. Patten

We had the Pattens in the restaurant last night. It was great to see them! Turns out, they were passing through town and came direct to FuegoMundo from the road.

They said: “We drove straight from Florida to FuegoMundo as we are passing through. Awesome Staff! Love the healthy alternatives. GREAT!”

We are so thrilled the Pattens stopped by. It feels good that our little family is growing.

Udi, Masha, and James Ball

This is a photo of FuegoMundo friend James Ball.

He resides up in North Georgia, but frequently ventures down into Metro Atlanta on business and to participate in local events, including a few TweetUps at FuegoMundo.

Joan and Gail at FuegoMundo...

Joan and Gail first visited FuegoMundo back in August-2009.  They are two very cultured ladies, having traveled to many places in South America, including Argentina and Peru.

Through their travels, they have acquired a discriminating taste for fine South American foods. They were pleasantly surprised when they found FuegoMundo. They loved the flavors of the foods and service, and thought the everything was very authentic and tasty.

“This is the Best South American restaurant in Atlanta, they said.”  They are frequent customers now.  We welcome them every time they come.

Alexandra, 20 months

Here is one of our absolute favorite Repeat Customers at FuegoMundo.  At 20 months Alexandra has a lot of personality!  She  comes to FuegoMundo at least 1-2 per week and enjoys her usual healthy meal of Quinoa, Black Beans and Grilled Corn-on-the-Cobb.

She likes to bring her friends and family along with her, but she doesn’t like to be disturbed while she’s eating.  We at FuegoMundo really enjoy watching her eat every last bite off her plate with gusto.

Natalie, Alexandra, & Mom
